Dwayne is the lead pastor at Wellspring Church in Charlotte NC which he planted in 2007. He also serves as the pastoral director with the Acts 29 Network. Dwayne is, besides being a pastor, is enthusiastic about educating the next generation. He serves part of the board of directors of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. He is the creator of numerous articles on the internet and a contributor to Christ-Centered Biblical Counseling: Changing lives through God's unchanging truth (eds. Kelleman, Viars). Dwayne's wife Leslie has three children.

Born Kellie Dawn Pickler on the 28th of June, 1986. Pickler was a difficult childhood. She was abandoned by her mother when she was just two in order to get out of the abuse of her partner. She came back into Pickler's world in 1995 when she became the mother of her. But it didn't go as planned. Pickler's grandparents raised her from 12 until the age of adulthood.
