Apryl was a contestant for Pussycat Dolls in Search For The Next Doll. Apryl failed to impress anyone on the panel so she was not selected. Afterward she was introduced to one of the artists who was on a tour with her as a backing singer. The couple decided to be part of the cast of VH1's famous show Hollywood. The first episode chronicles their pregnancy and the birth of Megaa Omari. Season 2 focuses on her discontents over and fears concerning her new career. Omarion is on tour when she recorded the reunion episode from season two, did not accompany Apryl.
