Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the only woman to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. She came in second place at both the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. Also, she was credited with winning in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. At a very early childhood, Annie was an avid sports fan and was a fan of exercising. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She is 5'7 tall and her weight approximately about 67 kgs. Annie began CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well on her first games, finishing with the top 10 in the rankings. While she did not take home any titles however she was able to finish in the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit games and because of her outstanding performance she was able to win the contest becoming the first woman to win CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie again won the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman athlete who has won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and the Sidekick Yorbae. Aside from that, she also has her own Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand viewers where her diet videos, family and travel vlogs are shared.
